Remember in June when we announced that Blood//Water had won the 2019 SOCAN Songwriting Prize? To celebrate, songwriter @grandson came through and played a few songs for us. Sidebar: stay on high alert grandkids, we have it on excellent authority that there's new music coming very soon!
We presented grandson and co-writer @chesterkrupa with the $10,000 prize, a @yamahacanmusic psr-975 keyboard & a $500 giftcard from @longandmcquade. Thanks to Jordan, Chester, Charmain and Sheri for spending the afternoon with us. We missed you #KevinHissink (Kevin was also a co-writer on Blood//Water)
