I started out by prepping the hair with @kenraprofessional working wax mixed with @bedheadbytigi After Party. I then pulled the hair up into two high ponytails to give the bun a lot more height and structure. - 💡Pro tip: when parting off the hair for the ponytails, make the parts at an angle so you can cover them up seamlessly when the hair is brushed up and secured. - Then split each of the ponytails into two sections and rope braid each section, leaving you with four rope braids. Pull apart each braid and start wrapping them around each other and secure them with Bobby pins. As I’m building the bun I always step back and make sure that I’m creating balance all the way around, and I continue to pull apart the braids to give an even fuller effect.
