It’s been a long journey together and I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished so far.
This year, we failed to make it through the last cut to final 10. Sometimes we win, sometimes we learn.
We’ll see where this journey takes us next…

Crossfit is a joke. You're not the fittest in the world. Stop deceiving yourselves. The fact that I have Rich Froning beat in the 400 meter dash by 7 full seconds at over 18 LBS heavier proves my theory. Here's a 53.44 second 400 meter dash at 6'0 and 214 pounds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LXrNmMpsiVk I hold the unofficial World Record for the fastest 400 meter dash ever ran at body weights over 210 pounds, and heights less than 6'1. Froning is 5'11 and 195 or so and has a 1:00 PR in the 400. You all can't compete with me. Here's a challenge to anyone within the crossfit world to see if you can run a 53 second 400 meter dash at bodyweights over 190lbs. I'll give you a 24 pound advantage because most of you aren't above 210. Not one crossfit person on this entire planet can run a 400 meter dash faster than 53 seconds at over 210 pounds bodyweight. It all goes by bodyweight. This is why the average Olympic mens 400 meter dash body weight is only 157 pounds. Even a 10 pound increase in bodyweight will slow your time by seconds. Olympic decathletes can't even compete with me because they are only 172-195. Trey Hardee is 6'5 and 210 and is the heaviest decathlete ever, but if I were 6'5 I would have been 245. That's pencil neck weight for that height. That's why a height factor comes into this. All you have to do to shut me up is prove to me that you're fitter than I am. Show me a 53 second or better 400 meter dash at bodyweights over 190. If it were this easy then you would have thousands of you doing this over 190 or even 200. Yet not one single crossfit person in the world can come close to 53 at over 190. Dan Bailey doesn't count because he ran his 47 at 165lbs in college. He will come nowhere near 47 at 200 pounds, which is the weight that he's at now. If anyone can beat 53 then post your video as well as current lifting videos so we can get an idea of your weight. Bigger, faster, stronger, FITTER, and HOTTER than you all. The 400m at heavy bodyweights is one of the biggest indicators of overall fitness. If you can't run below 57 at bodyweights over 190 then you're not fit. Sucks when real jocks show you all up huh? Denial sucks huh??/

Here’s what General MacArthur said in his farwell speech at West Point: The shadows are lengthening for me. The twilight is here. My days of old have vanished - tone and tints. They have gone glimmering through the dreams of things that were. Their memory is one of wondrous beauty, watered by tears and coaxed and caressed by the smiles of yesterday. I listen then, but with thirsty ear, for the witching melody of faint bugles blowing reveille, of far drums beating the long roll.
In my dreams I hear again the crash of guns, the rattle of musketry, the strange, mournful mutter of the battlefield. But in the evening of my memory I come back to West Point. Always there echoes and re-echoes: Duty, Honor, Country.
Today marks my final roll call with you. But I want you to know that when I cross the river, my last conscious thoughts will be of the Corps, and the Corps, and the Corps.
I bid you farewell.

@anniethorisdottir ever since I got into CrossFit, I’ve been a fan of yours. My wife and I look forward to watching you compete at the games. You should hear us, “C’mon Annie! C’mon Annie! Up, up, up!!! YEAH!!!” So, you can imagine the heartache we felt when we saw you didn’t make the top ten cut. I agree with everyone that it was done a few events too early. Regardless, we’re still big fans of yours and look forward to cheering you on no matter what you decide to do. 🤙🏽

That entire cut process was BS. You are not the 13th best in the world. You are in the top 5 discussion but was never given a true shot to prove it again. @anniethorisdottir I know this one stings bad. I mean i am not in your shoes and i still feel sick to my stomach since Saturday for you and some other athletes just thinking about it. I don't know what you ate gonna do next but let some time go by. Good luck.

you’ll return stronger @anniethorisdottir 💪🏻 rooting for you for 2020 games!
Love how you can always smile through the toughest events!
Down the line would love for an Iceland team to challenge Crossfit Meyhem that would be epic!
