Dada, 15, was abducted by Boko Haram and became pregnant with her daughter, Husseina, while in captivity in northeast Nigeria. Even after her escape, the ordeal continued with stigma from within her community. “They call me Boko Haram wife. Those people don’t know God,” says Dada. Her main concern is caring for her 18-month-old daughter. “I don’t care what they say… I love her.” Some 2,500 children were abducted in armed conflicts last year.
