Big, pink and furry, the 'Isla' picnic set is a Wallpaper* Handmade collaboration between South American luxury rug maker @yerrarugs and London and HK-based architecture studio @dhliberty. Made in Uruguay from humanely-sourced Peruvian alpaca, the project was an exercise in upending expectations. 'Yerra waited for the alpacas to die of natural causes before using the fur,' recalls Design Haus Liberty founder Dara Huang. 'It really brought to light a sustainable method for things to return to the Earth in a way that honours and promotes wellbeing.'
