I am not a native to beautiful Hawai'i but i have visited twice and have SOOOO MUCH Respect for the Culture and how dedicated to their Ancestry and religion/beliefs the Natives of the beautiful land are. It seriously Pains me that so many take No Pride in respecting the land in which people live and Honor. I have been praying for you Jason and ALL the people fighting to preserve what is precious to you. And Honestly Hollywood can wait! This is more important then Aqua-Man or any other project. This is YOU this about Teaching your beautiful children PRIDE in ALL its many forms (Faith, Culture, your people as a Whole unit) This is about not just standing by and allowing the protection of the land ( that has been watch over for Centuries) be desecrated by people who do NOT belong there. iam_metamorphosis The Canary Islands don't need the telescope.  The opposite is said by those who benefit from it and they are only a few.  In Garafía we have the GTC, the world's largest telescope, and yet remains as the poorest population of the Islands. Only in La Palma there are 12 telescopes, we don’t need more. They promise us benefits but the Islands don’t have good economic conditions. This saddens us, because there is little social awareness of the sacredness of the islands, we have eaten the story that all the Natives were exterminated and that's it, as there is no trace of that culture then it is okay to do whatever you want.  To understand it you have to review Castilian colonialism.  We have to fight against all these things, conserve our territory and understand our past. We Canarios have a common feeling of ownership and indignation for our territory where many things happen and we can barely do anything.  We know that Jason is doing this for a good reason and it is surely due to misinformation but he has to understand that the Canary Islands need other things and it is not very ethical to “save” their land by unprotecting another, says a lot about someone with such influence.  It is not funny to keep your land to destroy another.

ofri_plaut_ I don’t know who read this but I want you to know that you loved. There are people out there that going to make you feel like there is something wrong with you. If it’s your religion, the one you love, the color of your skin or even the way you dress. But let me tell you something : YOU ARE Beautiful ! And what makes you beautiful is that you are different from others. Be unique, be who you want to be. Take out of your life the people who makes you feel like there is something wrong with you, friends and even family because those people don’t know how special you are. And if you feel alone or that life can’t get better I promise to you that it will get better. I hope you will find your happiness because you deserve it 💋❤️👑

patriciaglasie1967 Southwest cliff pueblos are run by National Parks & they do NOT allow ANYONE to leave the trails. DO NOT pick up, take or move rocks & stones. If the ABI.gov & Park Services recognized the people of the Cook Islands as one of the first people, no one would be able to move or destroy the rock altars of the ancestors. Their are more people worldwide who worship ancestors at rock or stone altars than there are people in the USofA. Hawaiins ( not all) still give offerings to their ancestors. If this mountain is paved over, then there would be no record of first people in Hawaii!

falbornz Me parece genial cualquier acto de protesta para intentar proteger la flora y fauna de nuestro planeta. Lo TRISTE del asunto es el comentario sectario... diciendo q no jodan mi isla, pero q vayan a construirlo a las Islas Canarias. En fin... a mi me da pena q se talen árboles y se destruyan entornos naturales diariamente, me da igual del país q sean...creo q falta un poquito MÁS de pensamiento GLOBAL.
