I’m 100% supportive of not only women’s equality but all equality. That said I have Cancer so my world in centered a bit differently. I would love to see the rich and powerful stand behind a movement against healthcare costs and pharmaceutical prices. A few have tried but haven’t gotten far. Another fight is Education for our kids and teachers. Giving even $5 to this isn’t something I feel I would do. I have college accounts for my daughter to save for, medical bills, etc. Now I would give money to a healthcare or education movement backed by the masses like this. Keep up your good work and I pray for a different kind of movement for me to invest in. @natalieportman @uswntplayers @timesupnow

I’m not donating anything to a bunch of women who kick a soccer ball for a living. Because they think they’re mistreated. They don’t deserve to be paid as much as they do, for kicking a ball. Our EMT’s make MAYBE $15 an hour. Nurses are underpaid, Police Officers are underpaid, our Military is underpaid. Yet, soccer players are considered more important. Sorry, but someone who saves a life in the ER, or someone who is constantly putting their own lives in danger to help someone else deserves a whole hell of a lot more than someone who can kick a ball.

@tanya_bruski with all respect to team U S A, if women don't get paid enough why you guys blame men's the guys who deal with big bucks right now came from hard past even Christiano Ronaldo's mom (a woman) try to kill him during her pregnancy and the same boy now treating his mamma like a queen right now, if you wanna watch football with a heart that pump blood like 16cylinder bugatti you have to go for this guys because these guys can bring some real heat

Their salary isn't just based on the results with the international team. It has to do with branding, merchandise, paid football channels online and on tv. The list goes on. People generally don't want to pay to see women play football because it just isn't interesting when you know at what level the men play. It's harsh, but it's just a simple truth. I thought a Harvard graduate could figure that out for herself tbh.
