ressurectedphotons Failure for me isn’t necessarily in the outcome of a pursuit but more in whether I compromised my preferred style/ethics or pushed myself past my limits for the wrong reasons. I have too much to live for to endanger my life for stupid reasons. I tend to agree with Ueli in the general mindset that ‘an epic means you fucked up, it’s not something to be proud of’ 😂

maxlaroid If you're on sight, and your fingers are touching stone, you've already succeeded. That's my mantra. Failure has no place in this corner of life. I think we all check that at the door the moment we decide to put ourselves in potentially life threatening circumstances in order to find what we find out there.

daisyrapp I have observed that I tend to consider experiences "failures" around the time they happen... Once time has past and I have moved forward, the feeling of failure transforms into lessons/adventures that made me feel stronger

murph_p Failure is not paying attention or reflecting upon why you didn’t reach an intended objective. Doesn’t matter if you got there or not. What did you learn? If you’re not asking that question then you have failed.

yvnb1 I don’t think failure is the inability to do or complete something. I think it can only be called failure when you don’t learn from the experience and change your actions or mindset based on that lesson.
