2️⃣ I wore the heck out of those Pony hi-tops.
3️⃣Back then you only curled the ends of your hair. Only. The. Ends.
4️⃣ And I wasn’t just a baseball poser, I had actually played Softball, my position: shortstop
5️⃣ Things I wish I could’ve reminded her (me)...enjoy all this, don’t let a boy break your heart, always dress how you want, the people that make fun are just miserable and don’t know how to appreciate anything different from themselves. It’s cool that you are a loner and are independent. Yes you were emo before emo was a thing and would sit in your window and look up at the stars and write poetry and paint and draw and listen to mixtapes and cut things out of magazines to make collages and dress up in crazy outfits. I recently tried curling the ends of my 12 year old’s long hair. It looked weird and made me wonder why that was ever a thing. Then I proceeded to curl the rest and it looked so much better (and up to date).
