Five years ago today Paul George suffered a devastating compound leg fracture with Team USA. The long road back has led him back home to LA.

And there are really Thunder fans out there who compared him asking out to KD leaving for the 73-9 Warriors smh. It’s not like they were getting past the first round if he stayed. Westbrook is too stubborn to change the way he plays, and incidents like that show a career can end at any point. Don’t blame PG for wanting a shot at a ring.

Don’t forget he was in the running for MVP in 2013-2014 season and he almost put the Heat who had 4 all stars out the Playoffs while he was the only all star on his team and the only person scoring at least 20 ppg that season on his team 💯

That compound fracture will still go down as only the second worst moment in his career... @damianlillard dropping a bomb in his eye was wayyyyyyyy worse. Bones heal, he’ll have nightmares about that shot for the rest of his life

To this day, I have not watched the video of PGs injury. Glad he’s back to being an all star talent. Barely anybody comes back the same
