Golden joinery (kintsugi) is a technique that gathers attention in terms of its value concept and design aspect. The traditional process of repairing damaged earthenware with powdered Japanese lacquer and precious metals in order to recover its functionality and infuse a new breath into it was technically reached completion after the Muromachi period (1336–1573). TRUNK(KITCHEN) repairs cracked or chipped dishes with the golden joinery technique and continues to take good care of them. And staff members actively hold in-house workshops to highlight the importance of using things carefully.
