oliviafayne @astoldbymaia being vegan is fundamentally about saving animals and animal welfare. An option that means an animal isn’t killed is a win for us. The benefits for the environment by being vegan are just a bonus, not all vegans are environmentalists first... and there is a lot more being contributed in the environmental front, being vegan isn’t about being perfect - that’s impossible. It’s about doing what you can. Every vegan will support this product because it’s a win for the animals. 🌱✨

astoldbymaia Sadly PVC leather or most “Vegan” leathers are the WORST for our environment. Vegan leather uses PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride), which is carbon-intensive, doesn't biodegrade, and just adds to the toxins in landfills and waters (greenwashing). Also to produce the toxics from the factories get distributed into the air and creates harmful pollutants. Pride for Vegans- but PVC vegan leathers aren’t 🌱 or environmental safe- it destroys

itskitkatskitchen Just got mine today at @drmartensofficial store in San Francisco. They're beautiful! I love it. Got a size US women 7. Unlike the smooth leather version that you need to break in the vegan version doesn't really hurt my feet. And asked the store associate to replace the lace with the original Jadon's waxed shoelaces worth $5. And got a discount, too. 👍😍❤️😊🙌

_babooshka @samixmarie it's not about being a label whore, we just love the classic yellow stitching. It looks more aesthetically pleasing in my opinion. There's also a lot of knockoffs out there that look similar to these too. I'm super happy they've brought out a vegan pair, I would just prefer to have yellow stitching!

But you don’t, so instead of spending like a grand on all these cool boots, I go to competitors for cool designs in my size. Just sayin’, @drmartensofficial, maybe consider it sometime. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

ayeishamartinez you add these as soon as i order my normal jadons 😭😭 i definitely would’ve preferred the vegan ones, but not the mono the original yellow stitching :((
