@cathaypacific Dear Cathay - As a loyal CX passenger for 10+ years, I always appreciate and value the quality of service and safety that CX thrives to deliver. "Putting Safety First" is your core value. While flight safety is top priority, creating a safe cabin environment that embraces "Inclusiveness" and "Neutrality" is equally important. As a top-notch international airliner, CX should understand very well the importance of a diverse and inclusive environment with respect for differences of gender, race, culture, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, as well as political views. I refer to the pre-landing announcement made by the captain of flight CX505 on July 26, whereby he expressed personal views about the HK protest and soliciting passengers' sympathy and support for the HK protesters. I think this is a extremely unprofessional and inappropriate conduct of the captain. He could discuss his political views in a private conversation but not as part of an announcement through the cabin PA system. Every passenger has the right to form their own views and opinions about the HK protest. If I were on that flight and had different views than the captain, I would have felt discriminated, uncomfortable and insecure. I strongly urge you 1) launch an investigation for misconduct by the involved captain and 2) incorporate and reinforce "diversity" and "inclusion" in your staff training going forward. #CX505

My flight was cancelled, rescheduled for the following day. I had to pay for another night at a hotel in NYC, and was forced to take a downgrade flight for the final leg of my trip. After I spent 2 hours long distance calling where I was told that I could not speak to a supervisor due to their high volume of calls, I was assured that once I got to the airport that I could get an upgrade for one of my tickets for my first leg. I asked the Marco Polo representative if she could send a note to the front and she told me that was against corporate policy.

I’m a Marco Polo gold member #1543479742 and after I explained my story to the front desk I was refused the upgrade and I was told the Marco Polo team should have sent a message. We carefully planned a family vacation for months and now my daughter misses her first day of school and my pregnant fiancé was refused the upgrade and I was told to fill out a form to request “compensation” for my loss. . . -

He will be remembered in the future as the one, among others, who had the guts to step out of this rotten field you are cultivating, hand in hand with the oppressor: China. Shame on you, not to stand up For Democracy. To cowardly eat in the dirty and sick hands of the one who seems today, to have the “power”. You will be remembered. Nothing goes unnoticed. You will not be able to change the course of your wings when the wind will turn. This is the role of traitors :-) and you know what happens to fakes, weak ones, who have no guts to stand up and be truthful in their ethics, right? To those who try to hide later on the position they once took? To weak traitors. Who do not know in their guts from right and wrong. Their outcome is never rosy.

U sent me another scripted apology, my flight was cancelled and rescheduled for 2 days later causing me pay an extra night at a hotel@for my entire family, made my daughter miss her first day of school, made me miss an important day at my office and your Marco Polo agent reassured me I would get an upgrade ticket for my pregnant fiancé, yet when I got to your gate agent they refused and told me something completely opposite. I’m a Marco Polo Gold member and this is the way u treat your valued customers?

Worst airline Ever (No respect At all) They are rude !!!!! I am a business Class Traveler And I ordered an (Halal Meal) so when I am done I was waiting for an hour For someone to collect my tray but no one collect it then I pressed the call button for several times then no one comes !!!! After that I just kept pressing the calling button & after that one of the Cabin Crew comes towards me and she get mad to me for no reason!!!!!! I was waiting more than an hour for someone to come and collect my tray !!! BUT NO ONEEEE (She told me To collect it by my self and send it to the galley)

Travelled to USA back and forth with different airlines and this is my first time flying @cathaypacific. AND NEVER HAVE I BEEN THIS DISAPPOINTED WITH AN AIRLINE SERVICE BEFORE. Our flight got cancelled, got a reschedule flight +18 hours from now, with no guarantee that it’ll fly either way. NO food, drinks, place to rest, not a single dollar compensation from @cathaypacific . Not even a single sorry from Cathay. @cathaypacific you had been such a disappointment and we can assure you, we will never fly with you no more.
