elias_clg They have one more movie to make these characters interesting. So far, they are probably the most boring protagonists ever seen in this franchise but if TROS turns out to be amazing and actually makes these characters interesting (for example by explaining Rey's overpowered nature, there's actually a really good theory roaming around that also explains Palpatine's role in the movie) then that might retroactively improve them as characters in the Star Wars universe but at the moment they're really bad.

wes_bugg @yxlz8 I literally just told you Cinemascore did not. And again, it’s a fact. You can easily find it. But if you want to live in fantasy land go ahead. The Star Wars subreddit, the largest congregation of Star wars fans in the world, has a very positive opinion on the movie as well

wes_bugg @yxlz8 I never said that is the only factor, but besides financial successes the vast majority of fans are happy with the new content across all forms of media. And Solo didn’t do well because of the director changes. It’s the most expensive Star Wars film of all time by a lot.

wes_bugg @yxlz8 that’s just wildly false. Every new movie has great reviews from those sites but TLJ. But sites RT aren’t even reliable. People have admitted to giving TLJ bad scores by making bots. Cinemascore gave TLJ an A from fan ratings. You might want to do more research pal
