Meet Dipu, a gender equality advocate who is leading change in his community. Dipu is part of a Father’s Club facilitated by Plan International Canada in Bangladesh. Through the club, he’s learned about the harmful effects of child marriage, health risks of teenage pregnancy and the importance of being a supportive husband and father. We’re working with men like Dipu to help #ChangeTheBirthStory by engaging them as agents of change to support the empowerment of girls and women around the world!

My sister and I have no brothers. Growing up there was no man’s work or woman’s work, there was just work to be done. Our parents did acknowledge they had been taught different skills growing up, but they did not see a reason why we shouldn’t learn things our dad had been taught.

I get so tired at work when men say "my wife will do the packing, it's a woman's job". Like, I'm sorry, I didn't realise genitalia affected your ability to put items in a carrier bag 🙄🙄🙄

Yes this is true❤️work shouldn’t be decided by gender and husband and wife are equal👫we all should be treated equally💖

What’s with the plural husbands and singular wife? Do we get a stable to do the work? Cuz cool.
