@damnmansandman lol I’m a size XS and it is hard for me to find clothes almost anywhere else. For my senior prom after shopping at three stores I was left with only one option to wear because I could only find one dress that fit me. It’s degrading honestly, it seems that *body positivity* targets mostly overweight girls. It’s more common and more praised to be short, thick, cute but I am tall white and thin and I feel uncomfortable in my own skin because often I feel like there is not enough of me. Ironic right? While *body positive* messages are sent out such as “real women have curves” or “men like something they can hold on to” and they are put all over social media I feel like I am not enough of a woman or there is not enough of me to love. Obviously that’s a personal problem but I thought your argument was flawed because you tried to stereotype girls like me into a box we don’t necessarily it in. I can’t find very many stores anymore that sell clothes that don’t hang off of me Brandy Melville is targeted toward petite women just like plus size stores target bigger women, I think there are bigger issues to focus on

@alexxfasone yes, but all these young girls see videos on tik tok, and vsco stuff, and Pinterest, about brandy Melville and how it’s aesthetic and cute, but if people like me who are size medium, but feel uncomfortable in tight clothes, what do u do? It’s body shaming. I wish I could be skinnier, but no, I try, but can’t change some things that truly bother me. I feel stared at if I wear something even a little tight. The medium fits like a xs, s. I wanted a butterfly shirt, I was looking in pac sun sense they have a brandy section. I picked it up, it looked like it could fit a toddler, my mom told me to stop looking and for us to leave, I asked, she told me that it was wrong and terrible what they are encouraging. I really want to wear brandy, I emotionally can’t, it makes me feel uncomfortable and sad. Don’t say that please, you know it’s true, it’s wrong. The creator of brandy knows that and should expand there size range for ppl like me. Have a good day, think about that. 💕

@tb.omayma yeah, I see ur point. I didn’t know much about them making thicker girls feel like outsiders, cuz that is not okay, I agree with u. But there are also other stores that do the opposite. For example Fashion Nova. They mainly advertise thick girls with an unrealistically perfect body which no one seams to talk about as much. In fashion Nova u have to be thick to be a model, I mean just look at their account. And in BM I guess it’s the opposite. And tbh I don’t think neither r fair. They should both advertise anybody who feels confident wearing their clothes, even if they don’t look exactly like all their other models

@_madelyn_emma_ okay but nobody is saying that making clothing for small petite girls is a bad thing yes we love the fact that they make clothes for girls who struggle to weight but BM doesn’t advertise them selves as a petite store and that’s the problem they shouldn’t advertise to little girls or even women that’s the acceptable look is WHITE TALL BEAUTIFUL LONG BLOND HAIR PERFECT SKIN what we’re saying is that BM has enough money to create clothing that is bigger than a M who’s here is hating on the fact that they make small clothes absolutely no one so don’t assume shit

When is this “one size fits all” going to end?! You know it’s it true @brandymelvilleusa , listen. I wish I could wear brandy, it’s so aesthetic and you have AMAZING clothes, but the sizing is just disgusting and offensive. I’m a medium. All ur stuff looks small enough for a 3 year old toddler. Don’t you EVER say that fits all, because we all know it doesn’t, we all know this is body shaming and there is at least one girl, crying in her bedroom looking in her mirror and telling her self she needs to be skinny. Get it together. 👎

@billieposts nobody is saying that clothing for petite girls is bad we’re saying that advertising to little girls or just women in general that the acceptable look is TALL WHITE BEAUTIFUL LONG BLOND HAIR this isn’t acceptable walking into BM and being looked at like your and outsider shouldn’t be normal okay yes they make clothes for girls who have trouble gaining some weight so yea that’s that we heard that before but why shouldn’t it be acceptable that they add sizes larger than a M they have enough money this is BS
