Soar. Don’t take the dream and obliterate it with sense. Life can be short or a long stretch but without color, without a little jalapeño, life will make you pay in an atrophy of spirit for your don’ts. Your yeses and your why nots might just put a smile on your old face as you think back at the choices you had and, in spite of the fear that rumbles inside you like a tee kettle ready to burst, you took that wave, took that trip, asked that guy or girl, danced that dance, jumped from that cliff’s edge, signed up for that class, wrote that book, or had that child that you never thought you had it in you to take care of. Sensibility has its place but nothing can replace the deep color of your heart’s contentment.

Always thought there’s an adventurous part in me, dreaming of being on a research trip to the jungle in Amazon, or diving into the deep blue to swim with whales, but they were just mostly in my head and rarely taken into action. The last time I took a solo trip by a greyhound a year ago, it’s such an amazing experience, probably one of the best in my life. Sometimes the imagination itself can be colorful enough to keep me entertained, but just like what Gandalf said before Bilbo decided to start his unexpected journey, “The world is not in your books and maps, it’s out there.” (I’m such a nerd) I really should stop my procrastination and start to realize my dreams. Thank you for your inspiring words!❤️

They look like the little paper airplanes we used to toss around as kids.... The mimics of our imaginations 'come real.... a small sheets of paper... some white... some thick and filled with color. The "soaring" we pictured in our heart-filled minds as we watched them float like Fighter Jets across the Endless Sky... our mere green yards and empty streets.... quickly running to catch them and scoop them up and begin their "flights" again with our frail little arms... And our heart-filled minds. 🛩️

Held a tarantula at a bug exhibition today. I was terrified but I could see my little girl taking her cues from me. Would mummy hold it? I realised then that part of motherhood is teaching her to take a risk, breach a fear, welcome an opportunity. She held it too. Her face! Everything in her expression read 'I CAN'. I never make comments on insta but I totally get your caption here

Sensibility has its place. I don’t know where that is except maybe when purchasing shoes that will be used for long walks. My grandma, of 100 years, says “now those are sensible sneakers”. Now she knows when that word is to be brought into the light. She also knows a damn good sensible pair of sneaks when she sees them !

@joshbrolin those words are so miserably selfish and vapid. Maybe you'll change when the waters in Hawaii are so choked with microplastics that you'll realize how destructive these words are. It's not inspiring.

I needed this post. Biggest meeting of my life in 13 hours. I'm terrified, but I'm ready to ride that wave, jump off that cliff and kick today's ass!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
