I was quite hesitant about whether or not I would end up competing this weekend in the @tbfmasters comp, and once I got to the gym I had to make a decision. My hamstring is on the road to recovery, but I still can’t heel hook with my left leg or toe down and pull very hard. As a competitive person it felt like a tough decision to make. I’m so glad that @アンジー・ペイン and @audreygawrych convinced me to just try and have fun!!! I have to be honest there was some frustration during the round, when I would have to bail due to an unavoidable heel hook or aggressive left leg tension, but in the end it was quite rewarding to have to be creative with my beta in order to get boulders done without risking further injury. So happy to have made it into finals and to get another day to climb with my amazing friends!!! Finals start at 6 pm PST!!! geladoingthings I haven’t been able to heel hook for 3+ months because of a knee injury and always have to find other betas or just not attempt a problem whatsoever. It’s so frustrating😣
