They carry a lethal bacteria in their mouths and under their claws, so the tiniest prick could be a death sentence. Also, leave raising wild birds to professionals. It's actually illegal to handle and harass the majority of birds in the US, and is considered a federal crime. Just take them to a wildlife rehab if they actually need saving. (This bird is old enough to live on its own)
