The Byodo-In Temple in Valley of the Temples Memorial Park was established on June 7, 1968 to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the first Japanese immigrants to Hawaiʻi. Visitor attractions include a three ton bon-sho (sacred bell), a meditation pavilion and 9+ ft. figure of the Amida Buddha. ⛩

Visited O'ahu in May '17 with family and again in Sept '17 for 20yr Anniversary. Stayed in Hau'ula. It felt like home #hawaiianhome. Flew Hawaiian Airlines both times and Loved it. Visited ,Byodo-In temple, beautiful and peaceful. Looking for a way to get back again next Apr-May. Help? 😊.

I’ve been going to the temple since I was a child. It’s a favorite place of mine to go and be to have quiet time see all the animals and bring new visitors to the islands to see the beautiful Buddha.

We visited the Byodo-In Temple just two weeks ago. Such a beautiful and peaceful place (and wheelchair accessible for my sister-in-law!) And all this brought by @hawaiianairlines 🌺💕🌴

@black_dots I’ve been to Hawaii 4 times and never knew this existed until your Declan pics showed up today...and now this in my feed. I’m buying in to all the ad tech conspiracies...

So I visited here on a LOST tour. I can't say I've ever been to a more serene place anywhere. #wehavetogoback
