This #documentary is presented by Univ. of #Texas at El Paso (#UTEP) student #journalist Estefania Mitre as part of a partnership with @NBC News and @Instagram around the #DemDebate that asked college #students to help us tell local stories involving national issues that are impacting young people across the country. Estefania chose to report on local perspectives from the people of El Paso and #Juarez who live and work on both sides of the US-Mexico border, highlighting the challenges in having to navigate through a physical barrier with thousands of others each day of their lives.

What they don't mention is that they don't pay taxes at all. They go to school for 18 years for free at the tax payer's expense. That's why the property taxes in El Paso are so high. The schools are not allowed to ask if they are citizens. The schools know they're illegal immigrants but ignore it. Then they get all kinds of crazy scholarships to go to college. Some are quite wealthy but pretend they're poor. There are so many at the university, it's insane.

??♀️ Third world people have to stop invading civilized western countries and the incentives that bring them have to be stopped as well. Why is it that white People created the most prosperous, healthy, clean and educated countries in the world, hundreds of years ago, and yet black and brown people created, crime, contagious diseases, famine, over population, war and unrest??? ? Why can’t these people make their countries great??? ?

But they are not illegal, they go home. Frankly after living in El Paso and going to Juarez (maquiladora plant) I see that this works out for both countries, people from El Paso work in Juarez and go back and forth. Believe me these people don't want to live here.

That's because UTEP accepts everyone who applies and gives out lots of student Visas. Its called the university of mexico. Plus a lot of the rich Mexicans send there kids to school in the US for the better education.
