Premiering tonight @laemmletheatres and @together1heart present our #humantrafficking #film @milkshakegirlsproject —
Interview with director, @vivabianca “About six years ago, I was at an anti-sex trafficking event in Hollywood, hosted by AnnaLynne McCord, who's an old friend of mine. That night, she told the story on which Milkshake Girls is based -- in 2008 in Toledo, Ohio, two teen cousins were lured into a stranger's car in broad daylight outside of a milkshake store under false pretenses and forced into sex slavery. Until that moment, I had believed sex trafficking to be almost exclusively a developing world problem.”

This stuff is so scary and San Diego/Los Angeles is really high for human sex trafficking. Making movies like this is amazing so we can be aware of this danger and be extra careful. I don't know if you know this but a lot of this is happening online. Match.com and bumble or hinge. You'll see that a good looking man is interested and he will get to know you for three dates and when he has you alone he will drug you and ship you off to Mexico to be sold. Or some guys just drug you the first date. Whenever I'm on a date, if I leave to go to the bathroom even if I'm not done with my drink, I'll come back and order a different drink to be careful. It sucks that women live in fear of this. It's the worst thing that can happen to us. But it's good to be aware so thanks for playing in this type of movie so others can watch it and be careful. Thanks for getting the word out :)

This is SO IMPORTANT!! Everyone needs to be AWARE. I was lucky enough to catch on when I was approached by a trafficker. I can’t wait to see this movie. I hope it’s eventually on streaming services like Netflix or Hulu where it’s more accessible to the public. ❤️

How emotional was it for you to play the “bad girl?” I can’t wait for this to be available to the public. Thanks for all the work you do involving such a tragic situation!
