Emery Blagdon, who was born #onthisday in 1907, lived most of his life on family farms in Nebraska. Both of his parents died of cancer, and he spent his last twenty-five years creating what he called his Healing Machine in a shed on his property. His intention was to channel the earth’s electromagnetic energy for its curative powers. On view now in "The Art of Collage and Assemblage."
