shaneophoto @jms_photography_switzerland Leica can afford to make a quality product at a good price point, they have done it before kinda, but saying this is an affordable camera is pretty much false advertisement least to us common folk they need something for regular consumers and not to hype something as affordable that clearly is not

varitimo The M-E is conceptual failure. I’m the target audience for it and it’s at least a thousand bucks too expensive for me. Why would I buy a M-E when I can get a M240 for under 3K? Fixed lens, MFT, pocket size range finder M made in Germany for under $2500, I’ll get back to you.

akhyar.12 @aleksanderlee i thought those red dot is just some bs, its not... i realized it when i tried it on my local leica store. if you're on a budget get leica T with Voigtlander/adapted vintage leica lens , or leica X 113, those (C, D, V lux is just a lumix rebrand)

juilliart @varitimo I’m not sure who they are targeting considering the 262 car after and fixed a lot of flaws of the 240 including shutter lag and video feature that no one asked for.
