Sweet victory. Jon Stewart grinned on Tuesday as Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell headed to the floor to vote on the 9/11 First Responders’ Bill. After months of conflict (with McConnell and others), the bill passed 97-2. marie.wallace56 FANTASTIC Jon Stewart, I have followed the fight you have led for the first responders. Heart breaking sometimes to watch, but how brave and dignified these men and women are. I am from Scotland in the UK and came across this by chance. You put your money where your mouth is. If only the politicians in all our country's would stand up the way you have as a non politician. 👏👏👏
