Vacation in the mountains? Mountaineering and climbing are no problem for NOMOS watches at all, since their sapphire crystal glass is robust even at great heights. Sapphire is the third hardest transparent material in the world—after diamond and moissanite. To crack it you'd need a diamond (and a load of pressure). That said, hard knocks are not good for the movement within. So for your more extreme challenges we recommend tough watches like Tangente Sport.

Outstanding robustness was the aim of our product designers and material experts when creating these timepieces—without compromising on elegance, of course, which they achieved largely thanks to the slender neomatik date caliber within.
