I want to know who’s side you would be on. Mom’s side or your love’s side❓If you’ve been seeing someone for about a year, and that person starts getting into it with your mother & there’s friction all the time, are you more likely to side with this new person that you’re in love with or do you side with your mom❓ Or do you just stay out of it and let them go at it❓ By the way, I’d love to hear stories from people who are dealing with it now or have dealt with it in the past.

If your partner is in the right take them on the side when mom not around and assure them you support them but that is your mom and it puts you in a difficult position. So just don't fuel the fire anymore. Be polite and don't engage. It takes 2 to tango. Buy mom some flowers and kill her with kindness and she will come around. It's all about your partners attitude. If he or she has to always win then that's a red flag for you as well.

If she arguing with my mother, then she is being disrespectful. The only time that I would side against my mother is when I am married. Then my wife is above everyone and everything except GOD! calvinwinnn I’d be the mediator. Sit down with some relaxing ass tea and listen to both of their problems. Then we can all figure it out together and find a solution. cbdrick If your mate is wrong do the same thing only try to get them to see the error of their ways and apologize to mom with flowers and kindness. If they cannot see the error of their ways that's another red flag for you as well. It all about the attitude.
