Photo by @davidalanharvey | OBX...sand pump...pelicans glide ..I am working on a science book of sorts...pumping sand up onto a beach that will be 8 feet under water in 20 years... but now is now and July needs tourists and tourists need a beach...I am all for it .. it’s honestly rather miraculous what these engineers can do ... this book will have lots of charts and graphs and tables and stats and numbers numbers numbers, proof!! My pictures will always have a tweak of nostalgia probably yet a hard steel edge will run through.. #outerbanks #nagshead
