spaming_laila @ashleya.a it may take money and a lot of hard work. Have you ever gone to Mexico? If not everyone has very nice phones and cars. They SHOULD come her legally. It’s not fair to the others that did. The parents should’ve know that they will not be able to live here for free. My great grandparents went through tough times. I’m living a good life because they came here. If someone really wanted to live here in America they should do it right. And the kid with the passport yes they should’ve let her in but you don’t know the whole story. Maybe one of the family members didn’t have it or something was wrong with it they are only doing their job. Something went wrong if they are in the camps. Just because they don’t have a record doesn’t mean that they are innocent, and just because they are Mexican doesn’t mean it’s the reason they were in the camp. A majority of border patrol are Mexican. I should know I’ve lives my whole life by the border. Everyone in my city supports trump and what he is doing. They don’t want to take the families apart. It’s just what the need to do.

donnahugus It’s wonderful knowing that you support efforts of keeping families together. I’m sure our military men and women who are over seas, in combat areas, will be thrilled to know of your efforts to keep their family together. And all of our law enforcement personnel have to be just over the moon when hearing about your efforts to keep their family together as they are out serving and protecting our communities. And the homeless, how wonderful you want to care for them and keep their children with them as they struggle to live on the streets, in cars, under bridges, in tents if they’re lucky, under cardboard boxes. I’m sure all those parents who are underwater with their mortgages and are on the edge of losing everything, will really appreciate your efforts to keep that from happening. And let’s not forget about those who are incarcerated. I’m sure your efforts to keep their children safe while their parent is serving time, must be so grateful for what you do.

I am a teacher in upstate NY and am hoping that you can help teachers across the world out by supporting the #clearthelists movement. spaming_laila I understand that everyone wants to keep families together at the border but there is so much more going on. People that come here illegally get to go to college for free all the money. Most of our parents have to save up for college. It isn’t fair that they get to go for free. America needs to take care of its people first rather than illegals.The parents should’ve became citizens before trying to come into America. Then they have to start over from scratch. It’s hard yes but it’s not fair to the immigrants that came her legally, they have to save up for their kids. My great grandparents did it and right now we are living our life to the fullest.

emma.newman30 this is the first celebrity post i think I have ever commented on, and it’s because this may be the most awesome thing i have seen in a while. im actually starting a KIND club at my school to help children just like you are talking about, and to see a celebrity like you use their platform for something as divisive and powerful as the organization really makes me believe that the world is truly a good place. thank you shawn. i have always loved your music, but now i truly love you as a human being
