50 years ago today the American astronaut and aeronautical engineer, Neil Armstrong, became the first person to walk on the moon. Unbeknownst to many, this remarkable naval aviator and test pilot also carried with him some of the lower left wing material from Wilbur & Orville Wright’s 1903 Wright Flyer. Pictured here is the Limited Edition #Bremont Wright Flyer which houses some of this priceless material too in the rotor, taken from the same swatch that had previously only been used for presidents and indeed Neil Armstrong himself.⠀
