You truly impacted our love for the game and our desire to see you win. I can confidently speak to your entire fan base and say we all scheduled our weekends around TV golf coverage to watch you play. Although you were just playing the game of golf, I hope you know the impact you had on regular folks who saw you as inspirational and who were emotionally vested in your weekly performance. jaketheamigo About this time in your career, I was about 9 years old and I followed you around Oak Hills Country Club in San Antonio. I have never seen a persimmon driver fly so far. #7 is a up hill par 4. I will never forget your drive there. You almost drove the green. No other player could even get it close to where you hit it. It was a wonderful day watching you play.

praiderman 1993. First British Open I’ve ever watched. The shark became my idol instantly. I was 14, gave up tennis and never looked back. Also the coolest shirts ever. My fav was a tan shirt with fishbone print in black. Always wear that in round one.

rogerrasheed In 2008 was one of the coolest sports performances I’ve seen as you carved up to lead the open going into the final day .. Third round under extreme conditions , couldn’t leave the screen or miss a shot .. 👌🏽👌🏽
