mahalomom I love this! On August 1, 2017, I was 49 years old, and I decided to make a lifestyle change! At 242 pounds, I started gradually weening myself away from my addiction to sugar. I had a large sweet tea every day! I gradually shifted to half sweet/half unsweetened. Then, I moved to unsweetened. Then, water only. When I taught myself that I was going to live without my sweet tea addiction - I was able to make additional changes to my diet! I added exercise and made significant changes with my relationship toward food! I have been able to lose 89 pounds! @drjashton has been someone who I have been following along the way! And, I have found so much value to what she says! ??

get_the_knots_out You are awesome!! ? And completely correct. My mom and I woke up and day and realized we were tired of putting that poison in our bodies! YES, I wish more people knew that sugar is poison! My mom lost around 16Lbs and I lost 8. We both feel so much better and her A1C when down below 7! ??? So worth it ... we just say to ourselves... a moment on the lips ... forever on the hips ??? Thank you for all of your wonderful advice Doctor!

dek500 Yea I started this a few weeks ago and haven’t felt this good...EVER!!!....gotta cut carbs as well...We’ve been lied to our entire lives!!!....get educated about this fast...it may save your life

lisox68 Cold turkey is the only way to go for me. After a few days the cravings are gone! Just gave it up again today because the more I eat... the more I want!!!
