ur_aestheticloset @haesperea honestly get off her page. if you’re just going to be hateful towards everyone that goes to dubai then why don’t you just start blocking these ppl instead? you leaving comments isn’t going to do anything nor is it helping those ppl. do something for them by raising awareness instead of commenting weird stuff under these pages. i’m fully aware of what’s happening and you can’t do anything against a religious law. the slavery issue has been a concern for many ppl and even i’ve emailed multiple ppl there about that. they’ve said they’ll see what they can do since this has upset many ppl. don’t you dare compare Dubai to nazi germany cuz it’s not even close to that. how disgusting of you to bring that up.

ur_aestheticloset @haesperea no, not everyone knows because after my vacation there i was horrified to see how some ppl were being treated. i’ve written multiple facebook posts to bring light on what’s happening and many ppl were just as shocked as i was to hear such horrible things since dubai tries to cover it up by announcing their new projects. unlike other middle eastern countries dubai is “willing” to open up more towards others so if more ppl bring up the issue of the lgbt community and how workers are being treated to them maybe that will make a difference

haesperea @ur_aestheticloset I am compassionate and heartbroken for the people that live there that's why I judge people who vacation there. Going to a place that is literal hell for LGBT people and then just enjoying yourself is insanely evil. You don't go on vacation to places where legal slavery and death penalty for being gay exists and just post pics unless you are either completely clueless or completely heartless. Stop excusing her actions.

ur_aestheticloset @hyunathehyena cultural appropriation is when you purposely take someone’s culture and mock it. in no way is she doing so. she’s in a different country and experiencing their culture. in dubai they have lots of photo booths where you can try on traditional clothing and get your pics taken. she’s appreciating the middle eastern culture while she’s there and as you can see in the comment section lots of Arabs are happy to see that

It means literally, book definition - "the adoption of elements of one culture by members of another culture." This is why I told you to go educate yourself but you didn't even as much as google the terminology, yet come back and waste my time.
