Wow. 8 month old was taught by a professional swimming teacher how to save himself. Drowning happens so often. Please take care. Look at all the options available to protect your kids. We built a fence around our pool and taught our eldest to swim as early as possible.

This is only after deliberate training by a pro. Works wonderfully but doesn’t happen in one session. Very difficult to watch your baby go through it but in the end it’s worth it. Especially if you have a pool or live on the water.

Wow. The woman put the baby face down in water and then the baby managed to turn itself around but gurgling? And did I hear someone filming it saying that is awesome? That’s not teaching swimming, it’s child abuse

A choice must be made. Because it can be useful for survival but it is torture for a child. It would be a bit different to simulate what you do with hans collars for other reasons, don't you think @nicorosberg?

Fantastic. The only way to go Nico. Now for the next phase (Learn-to-Swim - Foundation Phase). I have met you at 2016 Monaco Grand Prix (Cocktail evening at Palace). Your championship year.

So clever! This is why I’ve taken my little girl to swimming classes since she was 6 weeks old. She loves the water now and is so confident! X
