Today we celebrate the Fête nationale, French National Day, also known as #BastilleDay. This holiday commemorates the storming of the Bastille, an event that was a turning point in the French Revolution. Like Independence Day in the US, Bastille Day in France is celebrated with flying flags, fireworks, and parades.
