Producing in Detroit/Flint has been exciting, challenging and very rewarding. My goal is to help create a fashion hub in the Detroit area bringing opportunities to designers, patternmakers, manufacturers and sewers, like Deborah Wade who is sewing a black floral skirt above. All garments sold in Detroit are sewn by a team of wonderful women. Thankful for the women of St. Luke’s N.E.W. Life Center in Flint, Michigan .
