Etty takes her morning surf checks very seriously. 🌊👀 This majestic #cassowary is the ‘lady of @ettybaycaravanpark’, where you can often see her and other local cassowaries patrolling this beach in @queensland, especially in early mornings and late afternoons. A 1.5-hour drive from #Cairns, #EttyBeach is on the aptly named #CassowaryCoast in @tropicalnorthqueensland, and a rather picturesque place to swim and surf at. Stay at the caravan park’s cabins or campsites so you can wake up in time to join Etty on her surf checks… at a distance. She likes her personal space. 😉
