Valentina’s weight loss is going well - thank you all for the helpful tips! As she was likely locked up in a cage for most of her life, her legs get tired easily and she isn’t used to walking very far. She has lost a few pounds so far and is walking (and even jogging!) a bit more each day. It’s a work in progress but we’re very hopeful that she can learn how to be confident and free like all dogs should be!

monkey_jd She is adorable!! I love her one floppy ear. ? After we got our Corgi, earlier this year, my husband found out online somewhere that Corgis do small bursts of energy (quarter mile walks or 4-5 fetch/retrieves with the ball) & naps. We pretty much alternate these ALL day with our pup when we’re home!

kipthecorgi Our Raizen was an old show dog and when we got her she was retired for 4 years and spent it caged up. She couldn’t make it up a single step or around the block. She’s now an agility superstar with lots of muscle mass !!
