A squirrel was messing with Richard this morning! Wish I got it on camera. It was standing on its hind legs 5 ft away on the patio, separated from Rich by a screen door. Chirping real aloud n’ haughty. Richard looked at me like: “Let. Me. At. Him...” 😾 🐿 #catsofinstagram

richard_kitty @its.miss.coco I actually did, but I didn’t want to share the rest in case people got mad... ? I put Richard on the harness/leash, and opened the door so he could get one second of chase on. Richard pounced!! Then the squirrel bolted away like lightning and it blindly jumped straight into our fence - smack! (the fence is vinyl, so I don’t think it hurt much) ?. After the squirrel’s Wile E. Coyote moment into the fence, it scurried away into the neighbors yard and hasn’t returned ????

richard_kitty @danfurl0 oh yeah the squirrel is fine. The fence is vinyl and has a lot of give. I’ve smacked it myself a few times ?
