ビームスの南雲浩二郎さんに教えて頂き “ ブラジリアン・ファニチャー・デザイン：モダニズム最後の発現 ”展を観て来た。建築家オスカー・ニーマイヤーやリナ・ボ・バルディの仕事は知ってはいましたが、ブラジリアン・デザインのミッドセンチュリー期の家具を実際観たのは初めて！モダンさに加え、遊び心やオーガニックさが複雑に絡まってとっても愛らしかったです。南雲さんありがとうございます。

Thanks to Mr. Nagumo of Beams, I got to the exhibition “ Brazilian Furniture Design The Last Expression of Modernism”. I off course new the works of Oscar Niemeyer or Lina Bo Bardi, but it was my first time to see actual pieces of midcentury Brazilian design. In addition to its modernism essence, there complicated mixture of playfulness and organic shapes. They are so nice. Thank you Nagumo-san.
