Located in Asakusa, #Sensoji is one of the oldest and most significant temples in #Japan, dating back to the year 628. Sensoji contains a sacred statue of Kannon, the goddess of mercy and is surrounded by imposing gates and has a five-story pagoda. Although the temple was destroyed during World War II, it was rebuilt with donations from people across Japan, becoming a symbol of rebirth and peace for the capital. #SensojiTemple #JapanTravel
