bbdm Why would you use an aluminum pan just to cover it up with a pan that you have to wash and/or can get lost? Which would both be reasons you’d use aluminum in the first place? ? Just buy a regular casserole or metal pan with a lid if you’re going to do something like this.

kafalkiewicz I'm actually a HUGE fan of this being I never get my expensive glass / ceramic cookware back after pot lucks. Feel like this is one of those niche items and I'm here for it.

donutrobot LOL. The only time I use aluminum foil pans is when I don’t want to have to bring something home from a party or camping or whatever. This totally defeats the purpose.
