Visit Carsten Höller's "Upside-Down Mushroom Room" (2000), on display in "Atlas" at the Fondazione Prada, in Milan!

Originally trained as a scientist with a doctorate in biology, Höller is inspired by research experiments and by the world around him. Mushrooms have regularly featured in his work since 1994; in this case, the red-and-white fly agaric fungi are gigantic and hang upside down from the ceiling. Learn more via the link in our bio.
