His father known as Bali’s Master “Tatah” artisan needed someone to take over his skill; out of all 9 children Coman was the only one who was focused and skilled enough to take on his Fathers talent. It took him 10yrs to perfect the hammered silver Tatah technique. Shown here is his latest work for a prolific gallery in Ubud. A carved wood Garuda embellished with over 5 kilos of intricate Tatah silver design with set rubies. Coman finished this sculpture today having dedicated a whole year to complete it.
