Happy birthday, Alelia Murphy 🎂Wearing a yellow dress, lace gloves and a tiara, the oldest living American celebrated her 114th birthday Saturday. Murphy was born in North Carolina in 1905 and has lived in New York's Harlem neighborhood since 1926. Friends and officials in Harlem honored her with a neighborhood-wide bash, and declared that July 6 will now be recognized as “Alelia Murphy Appreciation Day.” (📸:WPIX)
