jacb_the_explorer Pokemon Yellow. I was 4 years old, in hospital having an operation on my groin and my parents saw an advert in the local paper for Pokemon Yellow on sale with a game boy colour. They went out and bought it for me. 21 years later.. I’m still playing and have done every single year without fail. I’ve not played on the recent gens games due to not having the consoles to play them on but I’ve always played the older games and PoGo/Showdown .. honestly, anyone who says anything other than the originals isn’t a day 1 player ?

teleportsaroundyou My first pokemon game was Silver Version on the GameBoy Color. SoulSilver is my favorite and I got it on the day it came out and have loved it ever since, peak pokemon for me personally. But playing Silver version and hearing certain music from the game genuinely makes me shed tears of joy, nostalgia, and a kind of bittersweet sadness that life will never be as simple again. That is the mark Silver Version and Pokemon in general left on my heart.

bestes06 Pokémon black! i started with a tepig. the best memory i have is when it evolved into pignite, i was so excited because at the time i didn’t know pokémon evolved and i thought it was awesome! i still have the original save file but my original emboar is gone and i don’t know how

alchemy_owl Pokemon SoulSilver. Originally picked Chikorita but couldn't beat the bug gym so I restarted and beat the league with Typhlosion. I'm actually replaying it with Chikorita. So far I've got a pidgey and a ghastly :)

cohen.glasgow White Version 2 and I had a snivy and made it into a powerful serperiper and I caught Cobalion and Absol. And now I have Pokemon lets go pikachu and I have the 3 legendary birds Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres
