@theagdalmethod #TheAgdalMethod ❤️ Well that long weekend was a banger! I’ve been indulging, skipping workouts and having a great time (🥂🍔🍷🍟🍹) for the past 5 days. Back in the day i would be beating myself up mentally and physically after this by going on some crazy diet and spend 4-5 hours in the gym for the next 3 days, telling myself that I wasn’t good enough till i “felt skinny” again, but today i have a completely different approach which has taken me a long time to get to and a lot of work on myself and how i treat and take care of me. Instead of beating myself up for “letting go” i get myself excited to get back into my routine and i start little by little. I have no desire to go run 6 miles right now, but i am excited to break a sweat and “detox” so I’ll start with a goal of a 15 minute routine and see where it takes me! This is a reminder to not be so hard on yourself.. Sorry for the long caption but wanted to share! Thanks Nina bobina for your timely and encouraging post, after cycle of several days lost count tbh of getting exercise in and then not (indulging in realitytv recently exposed to naked afraid and abcbach updates etc) and late night eating—admittedly felt frustration turmoil (low key self loathing perhaps possibly too, hard to admit) and stuck pin in cycle. Long story short your post and healthy perspective gave me the much needed extra boost to get out of bed at 330ish am, already got in meditation, series of yoga, and now off to run...feeling like myself ! ? #grateful #motivated keep on inspiring w your authentic shares and positive encouragement, sure needed it

This is exactly what I needed to hear today and especially tonight after having gone to town over the holiday and then was too tired taking care of my three kids all day and night to work out. My husband is out town on work and it’s all me now but I beat myself up for not working out ?

Thank you Nina! This is exactly what I have done to myself since I was younger your age. I turned 60 in April and started small workouts and low carbs with chicken/fish and fresh green vegetables #istoppedbeatingmyselfup. #lifestoshort #youaresuchaninspiration?❤️

Being good to yourself it's the hardest thing to do, it shouldn't be but humans are so good at being crappy to themselves, it's just second nature I guess.
