(直前に寝ちゃったのに、機嫌よく起きて花をまいてくれてひと安心👶💐)
“The Art Of Marriage”という詩を、新郎側のいとこが英語で、私が日本語で。
いとこの和訳が良かったので一部抜粋。

結婚における幸せは、ただ何もせずして生まれるものではない。良い結婚とは造られるものなのである。
それは、いくつになっても手を繋ぐこと。
それは、愛していると毎日少なくとも一度は伝えること。
それは、お互いに怒りを抱えたまま眠りにつかないこと。
それは、何時もお互いの存在を当たり前と思わないこと。
それは、共通の価値観と目的を持つということ。
それは、時に許し、忘れることのできる度量を持つということ。
それは、お互いにそれぞれが成長できる環境を与えるということ。
求愛期間はハネムーンと同時に終わるべきではなく、その先何年も続くべきものなのだ。
それは、正しいパートナーと結婚するというだけでなく、自分が正しいパートナーであるということ。
Happiness in marriage is not something that just happens.
A good marriage must be created.
In the art of marriage the little things are the big things…
It is never being too old to hold hands.
It is remembering to say “I love you” at least once a day.
It is never going to sleep angry.
It is at no time taking the other for granted;
It is having a mutual sense of values and common objectives.
It is having the capacity to forgive and forget.
It is giving each other an atmosphere in which each can grow.
The courtship should not end with the honeymoon,
it should continue through all the years.
It is not only marrying the right partner, it is being the right partner.
