hgliva I agree wholeheartedly! I am one of those larger women who@love the outdoors and can never, and I mean never, find anything appropriate to wear. I find I wear legging not necessarily outdoor wear appropriate and hope beyond hope that I don’t run into anyone else on trail because it isn’t a flattering look. I bought some pants one time offline that we supposedly a 3x and when I got them seemed more@like a large. Please start to stick better outdoor wear for larger people.

minthomp I have found one REI brick & mortar store a reasonable distance from me that carries some plus size clothing. I'd buy more if I could physically try on more. REI - you're getting better, but there's still room for growth. Considering I have to drive approximately 2 hours to get to any REI location, it helps make it worth my while when I know there will be options for me. "Inclusivity" and "diversity" is important for size differences as well.

sarahepotter This is a nice sentiment REI, but it falls flat seeing as every REI store I visit doesn't have any shorts/pants past a size 16. I know you have some stock online, but curvy women want to be able to try on their clothes in stores, as our bodies vary greatly. Please get bigger sizes in your physical stores!

We’re excited about the progress we’ve made, but there’s still much more to do. Today, you can shop our extended sizing online and in store.

elizalef I LOVE this! Thanks REI! The next step -- and I say this with love and positivity and not as a jerk-internet-troll (bc I'm not one, I promise) -- is to stock more clothes for women of these sizes, and demand that the brands you feature on your shelves expand their size selection as well...

rei @minthomp Thank you for sharing your feedback and we understand. Were working on getting more sizes in more stores. This year we will be expanding our offerings to 21 stores, up from 16 in 2018. We're excited about the progress we've made, but there's still much more to do.
