You are such an inspiration and what young girls need to hear. I wish I heard things like this when I was in my early teens to early twenties. Those formative years have such a impact on a future women's (body) mindset and this is real. Realness is hard to.come by from someone who actually has the body to speak about it. I pretty much have the same body type as you and I can sat that I constantly feel pressure to be tiny. It's almost engrained into us that to be successful, you must be thin. I am jst trying to say good for you. You are spreading a great message that deserves to be heard. Thank you

@mindykaling ?? you look beautiful and thank you for the body-positive message!! I used to refuse to wear a bathing suit whatsoever, it has taken me many years to get comfortable enough to put on a one piece (or a tankini, my preferred style). I wish my 18 year old self had better self-esteem. My 42 year old self went swimming today at my town pool with zero problem. Maybe one day I’ll be willing to try out a high rise bikini. Thanks again for this post.

You look awesome young lady. At size 38 women my husband of 28y kept asking me to wear a Bikini but it never was my thing. He somehow found one My size so I put it on just for my love. This big beautiful woman (BBW) at my biggest 550lb had her man just grinning and saying oh yes that’s all mines which had me realizing, who gives a rat a** what anyone else thought my man, my husband loves what he see that made me happy too!

Mindy, this is inspirational. We are all so different and we should celebrate the beauty each one of us has. Beautiful is healthy not size, not perfect teenie bikini, not abs of steel only or your out. ❤️?Good job for those who have it, but society, mainstream, and we women need to stop sizing against what others do and are.

I am from Brazil and it’s the same way! Everyone wears two pieces and the men wear speedos. America has this idea that you need to be size 0 to wear a two piece bikini and even then you will see women that have stretch marks or are not toned not want to wear a two piece. Thanks for speaking up!!! ❤️

Mindy, i hate to bother you, i know how busy you are. Just wondering where you got your bikinis. I'm a lot heavier than you, i haven't felt bikinis looked good or covered me the way i wanted so I stopped wearing then in my 20s. You look absolutely fabulous, btw!!
